If you are in an unhappy relationship and you’ve really tried to work things out, with no luck, than it’s time to face the sad fact that even though the two of you are still together, your relationship is over. Now comes the hard part…the leaving. Here are some tips that may help you find the strength to sever those ties to a bad relationship so that both of you can move on and find happiness again.

1. The first thing you will need to do is make sure that you’re not running away from the problem. If the relationship is an important one like a long romance, friendship, or a marriage, than you have to be honest with yourself as to whether or not you’ve really tried to deal with the issues. Of course, if your partner is unwilling to try to work on the relationship at all then there’s nothing you can do on your own and it’s time to leave.

Once you’ve thought it out and have come to the conclusion that it’s just time to be done, then you have to find the conviction to finish it. This isn’t the time to waffle back and froth. It will just make the whole process much more difficult and painful. Once you’ve made that decision and really thought it all out carefully, don’t back down because you get scared. Leave.

2. When it comes time to let your partner know that it’s over, and that you’re leaving, you have some options. Of course we’ve all heard the stories of the tacky person who just sent a text message or an email. While it’s usually best to break up in person, if your partner might get violent than by all means send them a text. It’s important that you are as decent about the breakup as possible but that doesn’t mean you have to potentially put yourself at risk.

3. Make sure that when you breakup you make it perfectly clear that you’ve thought it through and that you’re convinced this is the right thing to do. It’s very likely that your partner will try to talk you out of your decision or even try to make you feel guilty. You can’t give in to that pressure, for both of your sakes. You have the right to decide whether or not the relationship is what you want and you have the right to end it whenever you want to.

Make it clear that you don’t want any contact with your ex and you don’t want them to try to call you. Don’t be wishy washy and make it sound like you’re just ‘taking a break’ when you know full well that it’s over. That’s a cowards way out, it makes it easier to get away from a difficult situation but it’s not fair to the other person. If you know that the breakup will be permanent don’t try to sugar coat it by giving your partner false hope of a reconciliation.

If you’re in an unhappy relationship and you’ve tried everything to make things better but the fact is that you and your partner just aren’t that compatible than it’s time for you to leave. Use these tips to make the breakup as easy as possible, for both of you. Good luck.

Being in a relationship is indeed a amazing experience. There are times when you can’t ask for anything more because of the overflowing happiness that you are feeling deep within you. But knowing that your relationship is in trouble and could possibly reach the end of the line, will be shocking and devastating news for you.

It will make you feel sad, isolated, and may even cause you to act irrational or out of character. Thus, you need to act now and try to save your love for your significant other. After all, there are several resources available to help you in this quest. If you’re interested in saving your relationship these tips may be a good starting point:

Identify The Relationship Problem

Identifying the main cause of a potential relationship failure is the very first step to save a relationship. It is indisputable that any relationship probably has at least a few problems. Some of these issues can make or break your relationship. Even if you don’t have a large deal-breaking problem, small problems can add up to make your partner break up with you. Hence, it is very important for you to identify the problems so that you can save your relationship and your love for your significant other.

Discuss The Problem With Your Partner

Love involves two people, not one. Thus, you have to discuss all things with your significant other once you have finished identifying the problems which are present in your relationship. In this way, you can both take the appropriate actions to save your love for each other. This will be especially important to you if you’ve been in your relationship for a decent amount of time.

Always Make Sure That Love Is Present

Love is the glue that bonds two people into a good relationship. That means you have to make sure that love is always present in your relationship to avoid any potential break ups. After all, love is the most powerful thing. Saving a relationship is possible, as long as there is still a glimmer of love within your significant other.

Indeed, saving a relationship is really possible. Just keep the above suggestions in mind. Also, you must realize that you can’t force the other person into staying with you. Keeping your emotions in check and keeping your cool are also very important parts to this complex equation.

<script type="text/javascript"

It is never easy to deal with a relationship breakup. Whether you are the one who finished it, or the one who was broken up with, it can be tough. Each person has to deal with different emotions. If you are dealing with a relationship break down, there are certain things that you need to be able to do. By working on these three things, you can be sure that you will deal with the break up as best as you can.

Dealing with your Emotions

Most people will try to suppress their emotions right after a break up. Those who broke up with someone will act happy or in some cases; sad and lonely, while those who are broken up with will try to act as if they are ok. It is ok to feel sad, and it is ok to feel distressed.

You need to deal with, and understand your emotions. Pushing your emotions to the back of your mind will simply delay the process. You cannot forget your emotions. Because you will just deal with them at a later time. Ignoring your emotions will keep you from coping with your break up.

Face up to how you feel, and allow yourself to feel that way.

Surround Yourself with Friends and Family

You need to surround yourself with friends and family when you are dealing with a break up. Your friends will help to console you when you feel sad. They will also help to take your mind off of the situation, when you need to start thinking of other things. Friends and family can be the perfect emotion regulator.

Friends and family will not let yourself get too upset, or too sad. They will still permit you to feel the emotions that you need to feel to get over the situation. They are the ideal people to lean on when you are dealing with a break up.

Work On Getting Over It

It can be easy for people to wallow in their sadness. They do not want to deal with the break-up, or with how they feel. You need to avoid this by recognizing the self pity and dwelling in it, to the point of the exclusion of all other activities and people. You simply need to start thinking about moving on. You need to start thinking about your circumstances, and what you may lose out on by dwelling on the break up.

In Summary

You need to confront your emotions, and you need to deal with them. Don’t be one of those people who push all their emotions to the backburner. Sure it’s nice to avoid the siutuation, for a short while, but the sooner you face it, the more likely you will begin to get a handle on it.

Don’t forget your friends and family are there to help you during your emotional difficulty. Rely on them for your foundation of getting over the breakup. It is important for you to work on getting over the break up, as you need to be able to move on.

These three simple, yet difficult to perform steps, will help you to properly deal with your relationship breakup.
